Trapeze Artist Pleases Ryan

Tuesday, 21st August 2018

Trainer Gerald Ryan said he is more than pleased with the progress of Trapeze Artist after watching the triple Gr1 winner finish fourth behind Redzel in the opening 1000m barrier trial at Rosehill yesterday. “He had a good hit out last week and has come on from it and I thought he trialled lovely,’’ Ryan told racingnsw.com.au. “He’s in a good head space and we’ll just keep ticking him over at home.’’ Trapeze Artist, the current $4.50 favourite for the $13 million The Everest (1200m) at Randwick on 13 October, will kick off his spring campaign in the Gr2 Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill on 8 September.
