Enable to Run in Arc

Friday, 29th September 2017

Star filly Enable (Nathaniel-Concentric, by Sadlers Wells) has been supplemented for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (2400m) and will take her place in the Chantilly showpiece on Sunday, reports Sky Sports. The Juddmonte Farms homebred has swept all before her this season and will bid to add the Arc to her exceptional list of accomplishments which include victories in the Gr1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, as well as the English, Irish & Yorkshire Oaks. She is currently as short as 5/6 with some bookmakers to become the 7th filly in the past 8 years to win Europe's most famous race. Enable's presence takes the number of possible runners for the €2.5 million Arc to 20. The race is being run at Chantilly while Longchamp undergoes a redevelopment.
