Street Cry Colt Looks To Have Adelaide Guineas Stitched Up

Friday, 13th May 2016

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum is no stranger to feature race success, his yellow and dark blue vee silks having been carried to victory all around the world. Tomorrow at Morphettville, his Street Cry 3YO colt Rageese, raced in partnership with New Zealand's Windsor Park Stud, appears to have the Listed Adelaide Guineas (1600m) at his mercy. Currently a $1.45 quote, Rageese (Street Cry-Rabsha, by Dehere) comes into the race off a sensational victory in the Listed HC Nitschke Stakes (1400m) at the same venue where he smashed his rivals by close to 5-lengths. From the Emancipation family of local Gr1 winners Virage De Fortune, Stratum Star, Railings and South African Gr1 winner Rumya, Rageese is living up to his juvenile form which included a runner-up in Randwick's Gr1 Sires Produce Stakes.
