Rich Enuff Retired To Woodside Park
Woodside Park in Victoria will add Gr1-performed, multiple Group-winner Rich Enuff (Written Tycoon-Hotnuff, by Spartacus) to their roster in 2016 after the boom galloper was retired to stud yesterday, reports sportal.com.au. By their resident sire Written Tycoon, who has made a brilliant start to his stud career, favoured Rich Enuff suffered a bleeding attack when fifth to Charlie Boy in last Saturday's Gr3 Liverpool City Cup at Royal Randwick. With a 3-month ban looming it made sense to allow the future stallion time to let down ahead of the September 1 start date for the 2016 breeding season. Rich Enuff retires with 3 wins (including the Gr2 Danehill Stakes, Gr3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude & Listed Mitchell McKenzie Stakes) & 4 placings (including runner-up in the Gr1 Caulfield Guineas & Gr3 Heath Stakes, plus a placing in the Gr3 Southern Cross Stakes) from 12 starts for $574,450 earnings.
