Dubawi To Stand For 225,000 Pounds

Dubawi, currently the leading sire in Europe and North America by prize money, will have his fee increased to £225,000 for the 2016 breeding season, reports Thoroughbred Daily News. The son of Dubai Millennium stood at Darley’s Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket last year for £125,000. Dubawi enjoyed a stellar 2015 season siring nine individual Gr1 winners including New Bay, Al Kazeem, Arabian Queen, Hunter's Light, Night Of Thunder, Postponed, and Prince Bishop. In announcing its 2016 fees yesterday, Darley revealed champion European colt Golden Horn (Cape Cross), winner of the English Derby and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe this year, would stand his first season at £60,000 at Dalham Hall, while Classic winner Night Of Thunder will stand his initial season at Kildangan Stud in Ireland for €30,000.
