6 Aust-Bred Winners In Malaysia

In Malaysia, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Perak:

  • 4YO gelding Satisfaction (Royal Academy-Wide Vision, by Danehill) won over 1600m for trainer Kevin Coetzee. Satisfaction was a $60,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Turning Wicket (Danehill Star-Vetthori’s Charm, by Vettori) won over 1200m for trainer Jerome Tan Eng Tee.
  • 5YO gelding Essentially Cool (Honours List-Al Muadiyeh, by Luskin Star) won over 1800m for trainer Keng Leong Chong. Essentially Cool was a $10,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Perth Autumn Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Harvey (Flying Spur-Princess Betty, by Marscay) won over 1600m for trainer Evert Van Breukelen. Harvey was a $52,500 yearling consigned by Stratheden Stud at the 2007 Magic Millions Select Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Bukit Raya (Blevic-Sugarplum Fairy, by Western Syphony) won over 1200m for trainer Tony Yeoh Lam Wah. Bukit Raya was a $80,000 yearling consigned by Alwyn Park at the 2008 Magic Millions Western Australian Premier Sale.
  • 5YO mare Charlie’s Angel (Half Henessy-Blue China Doll, by Bluebird) won over 1800m for trainer Poh Hoy Kee. Charlie’s Angel was a $3,000 yearling consigned by Goodwood Farm as agent at the 2007 Magic Millions Select Sale.
