Yarraman Park announced that recently-acquired Chilean-bred stallion Trotamondo (Hussonet-Movie Producer, by Give Me Strength) will stand his initial Australian season at $22,000. Trotamondo was Chilean Horse-Of-The-Year in 2005 after winning their 3YO Triple Crown & also won the US Gr3 Native Diver Stakes at Hollywood Park at his 2nd run after a year lay-off. Overall Trotamondo won 6 races (from 1300-2200m) including 3 Gr1 triumphs. And his dam Movie Producer (who has also produced Chilean Gr1-winner Madame Victoire) is a half-sister to American Gr2-winner Parlay Me (also twice runner-up in US Gr1 races). Trotamondo is due to arrive in Australia on May 24, with an expected release from quarantine on June 14.
