Inglis Broodmares Day-1: $2m Personify

Monday, 5th May 2008

In the Australian auction ring, bloodstock agent Kieran Moore paid top price of $2 million for stakes-winning 4YO mare Personify (Galileo-Procrastinate, by Jade Hunter) during yesterday's opening session of the 3-day Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale at Newmarket in Sydney. Personify (consigned by Kuani Park as part of the Paulyn Investments unreserved reduction) was offered in-foal to star Arrowfield Stud stallion Redoute's Choice. Owner Paul Makin paid $1,025,000 for Personify last year before sending her to Redoute's Choice. Personify originally sold for $650,000 as a yearling at the 2005 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney; her Gr3-winning dam Procrastinate is a half-sister to both Gr3-winner Galapagos Girl & stakes-winner Kampaign.
