Dylan Thomas Strong Favourite For HK Vase

Thursday, 29th November 2007

On world rankings there are few horses that would come within earshot of champion Dylan Thomas. The son of Danehill has "been there, done that" after 5 international Gr1 victories, and looks exceptional value for the forthcoming Gr1 Hong Kong Vase (2400m). Currently rated a $2.70 pre-post chance, the Irish raider takes on a quality field, including Germany's highest rated horse Quijano, & Gr1 Breeders Cup Turf & Classic performer Red Rocks, plus North American Gr1 winners Doctor Dino & Sky Conqueror. A shock scratching from the Gr1 Japan Cup due to a vaccination-induced elevated EVA reading, on paper Dylan Thomas does appear to be in a class of his own in the Vase.
