Jockey Brenton Primmer Improving In Hospital

Victorian Jockeys' Association executive officer Des O'Keeffe reported apprentrice Brenton Primmer "continues to make steady but definite improvement in his recovery at Melbourne's Epworth Hospital" following his dramatic race-fall at Warrnambool 5 months ago. Primmer "is able to converse with family & friends & doctors believe he is emerging from the symptoms of post traumatic amnesia"; he is "undergoing extensive physiotherapy twice a day to improve his physical skills".
