Ticklish Wins NZ Pegasus Stakes

The 6YO mare Ticklish (Maroof-French Kiss, by Paris House) returned from a spell to score by a half-head in the NZ$50,000 Listed Pegasus Stakes (1000m) at Riccarton Park. Ticklish (ridden by Jarrod Todd for trainers Brian & Shane Anderton) defeated top-weighted 5YO gelding Clifton Prince (Volksraad-Trickery, by Straussbrook) who also finished 2nd in this race last year & 4YO gelding Cullemour (Cullen-Western Rumour, by Western Symphony). Ticklish now has 7 wins & 13 placings (including April's Listed Great Easter Stakes over 1400m at Riccarton, March's Listed Lightning Handicap over 1200m at Trentham & February's Listed Greenslades Stakes over 1400m at Wingatui) from 27 starts.
