Centrebet Lists On Stock Exchange Today
On-line wagering group Centrebet (which lists on the Australian Stock Exchange today) announced it "expected to meet its prospectus forecasts for the 2005-06 year," reported The Australian Financial Review. Centrebet (which "experienced a record month in June for new client acquisitions, attracting more than 5,900 new depositing clients as a result of promotional activity associated with the soccer World Cup") forecast "adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation & amortisation for 2005-06 of $11 million, 14.6% higher than the $9.6 million posted in the previous year". It also forecast revenue of $46.5 million for 2005-06 (an increase of 8.9%). The company has forecast adjusted EBITDA of $16.9 million for 2006-07. Centrebet's $70 million initial public offering closed over-subscribed last month.
