Magically Wins Yallambee Classic

Tuesday, 14th March 2006

Former Coolmore shuttler & ill-fated multiple champion sire Danehill (Danzig-Razyana, by His Majesty) added a group success when his daughter Magically (Danehill-Magic Music, by Loosen Up) scored a 1.75-lengths victory in yesterday's $200,000 Gr2 Yallambee Classic (1200m) for 3YOs at Morphettville. Magically (ridden by Steven King for trainer Mick Price) defeated the gelding Amyjaye Power (Centre Stalls-Amyjaye Star, by Bureaucracy) & favoured fellow filly Swish Trish (Redoute's Choice-Smytzer's Trish, by Geiger Counter). Magically now has 4 wins & a runner-up (last start in the Listed Redelva Stakes over 1100m on March 4) in 5 starts for $184,000 prize-money.
