Kentucky Day-2: US$395,000 Devil His Due Colt

Wednesday, 20th July 2005

Buckram Oak Farm racing manager Mohammed Moubarak paid US$395,000 for a son of Devil His Due, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. The colt (consigned by Margaux Farm as agent) is out of Bold Ruckus mare Ballybeg & is a full brother to stakes-winner Devil At The Wire. Moubarak commented: "He has excellent balance & is a very correct individual. We feel we overpaid a little, but it seems like you have to pay for a good individual, no matter what the pedigree."
